Creating a protection scope

Protection scope is understood as the type of messages to be scanned. By default, Kaspersky Internet Security scans both incoming and outgoing emails. If you are sure that messages sent by you cannot contain any dangerous objects, you may disable the scan of outgoing traffic.

To disable the scan of outgoing messages:

  1. Open the application settings window.
  2. In the left part of the window, in the Protection Center section, select the IM Anti-Virus component.
  3. In the right part of the window, in the Protection scope section, select the Internet Security choice fs Creating a protection scope Incoming messages only option.
