Managing data display on the screen

To work with the reports conveniently, you can manage how the data is displayed on the screen: group events by various parameters, select the report period, sort events by column or by importance and also hide columns.

To select a reported period, perform the following steps:

  1. Open the main application window.
  2. Click the Reports link in the top part of the window to open the reports window.
  3. In the window that opens, on the Report tab, click the Detailed report button.
  4. In the right part of the Detailed report window that opens select the length of the reported period from the Period dropdown list.
  5. Click the buttons Internet Security report period arrows Managing data display on the screen to select the appropriate report period.

To group events, perform the following periods:

  1. Open the main application window.
  2. Click the Reports link in the upper part of the window to open the reports window.
  3. In the window that opens, on the Report tab, click the Detailed report button.
  4. In the right part of the Detailed report window that opens click the View button and select the grouping method from the corresponding dropdown list.

To sort events by importance, perform the following steps:

  1. Open the main application window.
  2. Click the Reports link in the top part of the window to open the reports window.
  3. In the window that opens, on the Report tab, click the Detailed report button.
  4. In the right part of the Detailed report window that opens, click the event type icon (Internet Security button inform Managing data display on the screenInternet Security button important Managing data display on the screenInternet Security button critical Managing data display on the screen), to show / hide the events of this type.

To sort data by value in a certain column, perform the following steps:

  1. Open the main application window.
  2. Click the Reports link in the upper part of the window to open the reports window.
  3. In the window that opens, on the Report tab, click the Detailed report button.
  4. In the right part of the Detailed report window that opens right-click the necessary column header to open its context menu and select Sort descending or Sort ascending.

    Column header will display an arrow indicating the sorting order.

In order to hide / show table columns:

  1. Open the main application window.
  2. Click the Reports link in the top part of the window to open the reports window.
  3. In the window that opens, on the Report tab, click the Detailed report button.
  4. In the right part of the Detailed report window that opens, right-click the table header to open its context menu. To hide certain table columns, uncheck their corresponding boxes in the context menu.
