Blocking access to dangerous websites

You can block access to websites which have been considered as suspicious or phishing by Kaspersky URL Advisor.

If the application cannot make a clear decision on security of the website to which the URL redirects, you are offered to load this website in Safe Run for Websites mode (only for Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox browsers). When running in Safe Run mode, malicious objects do not pose any threat to your computer.

To block access to dangerous websites:

1. Open the application settings window.
2. In the left part of the window, in the Protection Center section, select the Web Anti-Virus component.
3. Click the Settings button in the right part of the window.

   The Web Anti-Virus window opens.

4. On the Safe Surf tab, in the Block dangerous websites section, check the  Block dangerous websitess box.
